    Thursday, May 10, 2018, is Bike to Work Day! Commute to work by bike instead of driving. Energizer Stations: Visit an energizer station for refreshments, t-shirts, and bags filled with giveaways and coupons from sponsors. This year, staff from the cities of Dublin and Pleasanton, the Alameda County Transportation Commission, as well as Hacienda, Dublin Cyclery, and REI Dublin will host the stations. East Dublin Bart: 6:30-9 West Dublin Bart: 7-9 Bike to Work Day Happy Hour: Celebrate your ride to work with a post work happy hour at Whole Foods in Dublin, 5-7 PM

  1. "Got Milk? Local Dairies in the Dublin Area" Exhibit at Heritage Park & Museums

    Discover how local farmers contributed to California surpassing Wisconsin as the nation's leading dairy state. Local farmers and their families did it all, from growing the feed for the cows to processing the milk into cream, butter, and cheese to marketing and delivering it to consumers. Individual farmers joined together to form cooperatives in the early 1900s. Dublin also played a part in the development of modern, scientific mass production and mass distribution, with the Foremost Dairy Research Center, which opened in 1966. See vintage milk bottles, cartons, bottle caps, and modern dairy equipment, some on loan from the California State Parks Dairy Collection.

    Come out every Thursday, April 5 through September 27, to find your favorite locally grown produce, delicious baked goods, honey, nuts, pasta, and more. You'll also find cooking demonstrations; great family-friendly entertainment; and wine/beer tastings and free concerts on the "First Thursday" of each month, beginning in May. The concert line-up this season includes Kingsborough ("Modern Twist on Authentic American Rock") on May 3; Caravanserai - The Santana Tribute on June 7; IdeaBand (Pop and rock cover band) on July 5; Andre Thierry (Zydeco) on August 2; and Unauthorized Rolling Stones on September 6.
