    Looking for a job? Sign up for a 20-minute session with a job search specialist who will offer career counseling. This program is free and presented by the Tri-Valley One-Stop Career Center in partnership with the Dublin Library. You must call the Dublin Library at 925-803-7252 or come to the Information Desk in person to sign up for a 20-minute session. Please arrive early for your appointment and check-in at the Information Desk.

  2. Lawyer in the Library

    Free legal assistance is provided by a volunteer lawyer from the Alameda County Bar Association. The attorney will consult to define your problem, advise you of your options, get you started with a solution, and make a referral when needed. Your appointment is for a maximum 15 minutes. You must arrive five (5) minutes early to check in at the Reference Desk to secure your appointment. Latecomers forfeit their appointment. You may not have had an appointment within the past six months to qualify. A no-show is considered an appointment. You will bring any paperwork pertaining to your case when you come to see the lawyer. This free consultation is not intended to, and does not establish, a continuing attorney/client relationship. The volunteer attorney can only provide brief consultation and referrals . If you agree to these terms, you may ask to sign up for a 15-minute appointment at the Reference Desk or by calling 925-803-7252.

  1. The Dublin Chamber of Commerce's First 50 Years: 1968-2018

    Begin with a snapshot of Dublin in 1968, when the Dublin Chamber of Commerce was formed. As a small town with fewer than 100 businesses, fast-growing Dublin had beauty salons and barber shops, auto repair shops, and a cocktail lounge or two to serve new suburbanites who were moving here by the thousands. Learn about the Chamber’s first battle involving a soapbox derby, and see how the Chamber advocated for local businesses. By 1982, Dublin had more than 675 businesses and had become a major shopping and recreational destination with a bowling alley, drive-in movie theater, roller rink, and every type of fast food imaginable. Discover the Chamber’s role in helping Dublin gain a reputation as one of the best cities in California for business owners.

  2. Parks Air Force Base: 1951-1959

    Parks Air Force Base was a basic training center, overseas replacement depot, and air base defense training area during the Korean War. Learn about the Korean War and how Parks Air Force Base provided basic training and prepared airmen for flight school and service. See on display a recruit's ‘regulation’ bunk complete with footlocker and souvenirs; uniforms including the herringbone jumpsuit worn for work duty; an officer’s desk complete with General MacArthur snow globe and original Parks AFB yearbooks with photos depicting the training and camaraderie Parks AFB personnel; and original construction plans, reports, photographs, and documents for Parks AFB and Hospital.

  3. Violin Holiday Concert

    String in the holiday season with a holiday concert performance by the students of the Keep Violinin’ Studio. Led by Jianni Song, students ages 4-15 will perform a string ensemble as well as violin solos and duets to some of their favorite holiday melodies. This event is made possible with a City of Dublin Art Space Grant.
