    Axis Community Health is a community health center that provides medical care, mental health counseling and addiction counseling services for everyone in the community through their clinics located in Pleasanton and Livermore. They serve low-income clients who have no other access to health care. A representative from Axis will be at the Dublin Library once a month, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., offering information and assistance on Covered California, open enrollment and Medi-Cal.     Take a virtual drive along historic Highway 21, past orchards, farms houses and farm stands, to learn about how this important thoroughfare connected local farmers and their produce to the world. A twenty-four foot mural depicting Highway 21 features Dublin’s historic sites, painted by talented local artists. Learn how the local agricultural industry “trucked” their produce to market.

  2. The Wave Job Fair

    The Wave, a new state-of-the-art recreation and aquatic complex, will open in the spring at Emerald Glen Park. Looking to fill over 100 part-time positions, the City will host a job fair on Saturday, January 28, 2:00-5:00 p.m., at Dublin's Senior Center. Positions available at The Wave include lifeguard, swimming instructor, cashier, and facility attendant. Starting pay is $10 to $12 per hour, depending on position, and may be increased based on experience. Training and certification will be provided for those without prior experience. Depending on availability, applications may be reviewed and interviews held on-site for qualified candidates who apply while attending the Job Fair. Interested applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress in professional attire.
