  1. Be a Sustainable Citizen: Waste Prevention Workshop

    February 25, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Dublin Civic Center

    This workshop will explain how we are all part of the solution to reducing our consumption of waste, energy, water, and more. The workshop focuses on the principles of "Sustainable in 10" - ten actions that cost no money, create cost savings, and reduce your environmental footprint. The average "sustainable citizen" household can save over $550 per year, while simultaneously eliminating tons of carbon dioxide per year and reducing greenhouse emissions.


  1. Teen Advisory Group

    February 20, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ Dublin Library

    Teens are invited to get involved with the Dublin Library, help plan programs, suggest materials for purchase, plan art projects, and earn community service hours. Meetings are once a month on Saturdays.

  2. Hear All About It: Family Story Night

    February 23, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Dublin Library

    Join librarians and community volunteer storytellers for an evening of stories followed by a craft, perfect for the young and the young-at-heart. Best suited for families with children ages five and over.

  3. Teen Tech

    February 27, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Dublin Library

    Teen Tech is offered the 4th Saturday of the month. Teen volunteers are here to help you with your electronic devices. They can help with email set-up, e-readers and downloading e-books, camera or cell phone questions, basic computer troubleshooting, or setting up a laptop or tablet. This is a drop-in program, no appointment necessary.

    Veterans from all branches of the military are invited to participate in a job fair hosted by Camp Parks. Also invited to attend are civil service employees, as well as family members of veterans. Local employers looking to hire veterans include Oracle, Chevron, PG&E, East Bay Municipal Utility District, Comcast, Safeway, FBI, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, and the County of Alameda.

    The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) generally meets the fourth Wednesday of every month. YAC is a positive and creative youth driven forum that gives Dublin teens a way to provide input on programs and activities offered by the City.
