Facility RentalsNew Shannon Community CenterThe Shannon Community Center is poised to become a premier rental facility in the region. The cornerstone of this new mission-style building is Ambrose Hall, which is a 6,000 square foot events room that can comfortably seat 300 for dining. Ambrose Hall has floor to ceiling windows the length of the room that look out over a colonnade to the lush landscape and beauty of the creek. The abundance of natural wood trim, large wood cellar doors, and a travertine wainscot provide Ambrose Hall with the elegance of a grand hotel or winery. Application and Use Guidelines Dublin Senior CenterThe award winning Dublin Senior Center opened in August 2005 and has become Dublin's premier event facility. The building incorporates the use of warm, earth tone colors and natural stone. The entry has high ceilings and a fireplace making an attractive first impression for visitors and guests arriving for an event. The Ballroom seats 248 for dining and features bamboo floors, a raised stage, casual seating nook, and access to two beautifully landscaped outdoor patios. The Ballroom can be divided in half if needed, with both sides accessible to the Catering Kitchen. Adjacent to the Ballroom is a large, Pre-Function Area suitable for a cocktail hour prior to an event or locating a grand buffet. The Lounge Area has a fireplace and lounge furniture and is suitable for a cocktail hour before an event. Adjacent to the lounge is another patio, partially covered, to expand an event outdoors. Application and Use Guidelines Dublin Library Community RoomThe Community Room at the Dublin Public Library is 1,830 square feet and can accommodate up to 122 people. The room is equipped with a built-in PA system, VCR, video projection system with inputs for a laptop (facility users must provide their own laptop), hearing impaired devices and a presentation screen that drops down from the ceiling. One of the walls has fabric for hanging items and includes a built-in dry-erase board. This is an outstanding facility for conducting meetings, trainings, seminars or workshops. Application and Use Guidelines Old St. Raymond's ChurchBuilt by Dublin pioneers in 1859, Old St. Raymond's Church is the oldest wooden church in California. No longer functioning as a religious institution, the little church stands in its original setting, its bell proudly pealing over the community. The Old St. Raymond's Church is available for community and private use. The intimate, historical setting is ideal for small weddings, baptisms, recitals, funerals, memorials and lectures. The Regional Meeting Room can accommodate up to 80 for dining and 125 for assembly and includes a kitchenette, podium and built-in screen. The Council Chambers offers theater style seating for 142 and panel seating for 11 and has 2 podiums and 2 built-in screens. For reservations call (925) 833-6645. Application and Use Guidelines Sports Fields and CourtsThe Dublin Sports Grounds, Emerald Glen and Ted Fairfield Parks have sports fields and courts available for rental for sporting events such as softball, baseball, soccer and tennis. Sports Fields Policy & Application Tennis Courts Policy and Application Dublin Swim CenterLocated adjacent to Dublin High School, this facility is perfect for outdoor events such as school parties, family gatherings and company picnics. The facility features a group picnic area as well as a 100' long open-flume waterslide. Groups may BBQ or bring in food, however alcoholic beverages and glass containers are not permitted. Application and Use Guidelines Stager Community GymnasiumThe 10,000 square foot facility located at 6901 York Drive is the home of the City's youth basketball program and City's adult basketball and volleyball leagues. The gymnasium can accommodate two short courts or one main court for volleyball, basketball, badminton or other appropriate sports. Application and Use Guidelines Emerald Glen Park Group Picnic AreaThe Emerald Glen Group Picnic Area opened in June 2006 and is one of the premier group picnic areas in the Tri-Valley, and the City's only picnic area that can be reserved in advance (other picnic areas are available on a first come, first served basis). The Group Picnic Area borders Tassajara Creek and features a stunning arbor with stone covered pillars that provides covered seating for 200. The picnic area has three distinct areas each featuring large barbecues, sinks and prep counters and electrical outlets. Each area can be rented individually or the entire area can be rented as a whole. Adjacent to the picnic area are bocce ball courts, soccer fields, a cricket field, a children's playground and restrooms. The park also features baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and a skateboard park to keep everyone at your picnic busy and having fun. Application and Use Guidelines |
