Business Licenses
All entities and persons doing business in the incorporated area of the City of Dublin (including subcontractors) are required to have a current business license. Most businesses (the primary exception being for non-profit organizations) pay a $50 registration fee each year for their business license in Dublin, which is prorated on a monthly basis for the first year the business began operation in Dublin. For Business License purposes, the year begins on October 1st and ends on September 30th.
This is the lowest fee in the Tri-Valley area for a business license as the City only charges the amount necessary to recover its regulatory costs, and does not base its fee on the amount of gross revenue generated or staff employed by a business, as many other cities do, which often results in a substantially higher fee.
TO DOWNLOAD A BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION PACKET
- Get the right form packet below, and fill out ALL PAGES of the form packet online. You'll need Acrobat Reader - available free from Adobe Systems - to view the forms (Click on the Acrobat Reader Link above to install a copy of this program onto your computer).
- Print the completed form packet on your printer (It will not allow you to save it - you must print it out). Remember to proofread carefully!
- Sign your form, and return it with your check for the appropriate fee (The fee schedule is included as part of the form packet). Mail the packet to:
