The Dublin Senior Center offers a variety of classes, activities, and programs that engage the mind, body, and spirit. The Center promotes healthy lifestyles for all fitness levels. Enhance your body image by participating in an exercise or dance class, or walking group. Keep your mind alert with table games, a book group, a creative writing group, computer class, educational classes, and seminars. Does your creative self need nourishing? Try an art class. If you are a leader type, perhaps you would like to start a new activity at the Center. We welcome your suggestions. If you are new to the area and don't know anyone, just stop by the office and staff will be sure to introduce you to a group of friendly people.

Volunteer Opportunities

MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO HELP US HELP OTHERS at the Senior Center! Caring, giving people with various skills are needed in the office and the kitchen! Volunteering is a great way to use your talents to help others and give back to the community. Meet other wonderful and compassionate volunteers. Training is provided for all types of positions.

Help Shape the Future of the Dublin Senior Center

The Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee discusses many issues and activities related to the future of the Dublin Senior Center. The Committee meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. at the City of Dublin Council Chambers. The agenda of the upcoming Committee meetings are posted at the Senior Center Public Meeting Bulletin Board. For more information, please contact the Dublin Senior Center at (925) 556-4511.

Senior Center Activities & Programs

The Center offers a variety of activities for the senior community. Newcomers are welcome anytime. Call (925) 556-4511 to enlist in an activity. Many of the classes and activities offered are made possible through partnerships with organizations, like Las Positas Community College Quest Program and Dublin Adult School, or provided by an independent contract instructor.

Ridematch

The Dublin Senior Center Ride Match Program encourages carpooling as an alternate means of transportation. It provides seniors who may or may not have their own vehicles, transportation to the Senior Center and back. The Senior Center Staff will maintain a list of interested drivers and riders. Individuals will be responsible for working out their own arrangements for carpool.
