Dublin City Parks(925) 556-4500 The City's current park system includes thirteen parks and two open space areas. The Parks and Community Services Department manages park planning and development. General Park InformationTHE SPORTS FIELDS AT EMERALD GLEN PARK, TED FAIRFIELD PARK AND THE DUBLIN SPORTS GROUNDS ARE CLOSED THROUGH MARCH 1 FOR ANNUAL WINTER MAINTENANCE
§ Parks are open from sunrise until one-hour after sunset.
§ Lighted fields, courts and the skate park are closed at 10:00 P.M.
§ In Community Parks, smoking is prohibited within 100 feet of the following areas: children’s play areas; playgrounds; swimming areas; sports fields; sports courts; skate parks; and picnic areas.
§ Alcohol and glass containers are prohibited.
§ Sports fields are available for use by the community by applying for a field use permit. Reservations for all sports fields can be made at the Dublin Civic Center.
§ Emerald Glen Park has a group area that is available for private rentals. Prior reservations and fees are required. All other picnic areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis and reservations are not accepted.
§ Inflatable party jumpers are prohibited (other than through advanced reservations in the Group Picnic Area).
§ Barbecues are permanently installed in many parks. Personal barbecue equipment in not allowed in any other areas of the parks.
§ Dogs must remain under the complete control of their owners on a leash at all times. Dog owners are required to immediately remove and properly dispose of their animal's feces.
§ An enclosed quarter-acre run for small dogs under 20-pounds is located at Bray Commons. This is also a dog park (for large and small dogs) located at Dougherty Hills Dog Park. These are the only areas in Dublin's parks where dogs may be off of a leash.
§ Motor powered vehicles are prohibited in park areas, except by permit in the Emerald Glen Park Group Picnic Area.
§ Generators are not allowed in the parks.
§ Activities prohibited in parks include archery, operating powered model crafts, camping, golfing, wading in fountains or ponds, using electrical amplification equipment, and firing fireworks.
§ Use of the parks for tournaments or exhibitions is allowed only with the approval of the Parks and Community Services Director.
