Applications Available for the East Bay Community Energy Authority's Community Advisory Committee

The East Bay Community Energy Authority (EBCEA) is seeking nine members of the public to serve on a Community Advisory Committee to represent constituencies in matters relating to the Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) Program in Alameda County.  A CCA program would allow for competition in electricity generation services.


Community Advisory Committee members will be asked to perform these functions:

1) Advise the Board of Directors on all subjects related to the operation of the CCA Program as set forth in a work plan adopted by the Board from time to time, with the exception of personnel and litigation decisions;

 2) Represent the views of your constituencies in your comments and decision-making;

3) Serve as an information-channel back to your colleagues and communities; and

4) Help identify issues of concern and opportunities to educate about CCE in Alameda County


The EBCEA is now taking applications for membership on the Community Advisory Committee.  Please view the attached application and submit it to bruce.jensen@acgov.org no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.  Applications may also be sent by mail to:
