2018-19 Application Requirements & Process

Grant Application Workshops

To submit for funding, applicants are required to attend one Grants Application Workshop. Staff will discuss the application process and timelines.  Click the ZoomGrants image to the right to access the application.
The application will be available online only starting December 6, 2017 at 8:00 AM through midnight January 7, 2018.  Click the ZoomGrants image above to access the application.

All applications are required to be created, submitted and processed in ZoomGrants starting December 6, 2017 at 8:00 AM.

Guidelines for Funding

  • A separate application is due for each requested funding program.
  • A funding agreement and financial reporting are required.
  • The Proposed program must start on or after the Program Funding Fiscal Year (FY), July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019.
  • Funds are to be used during the Funding FY, any funds remaining will be forfeited.

Note to Applicants

Grant funding is not guaranteed and is dependent on the availability of anticipated Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Alameda County Housing and Community Development Agency and/or the City's General Fund.
