Decorate Dublin Holiday Contest

The Decorate Dublin Holiday Contest is sponsored by the City of Dublin and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.  The program seeks to encourage shoppers to frequent Dublin businesses and increase festive decor in Dublin's retail areas during the busy holiday shopping season.

Dublin businesses are invited to register to participate in the program, completing their decorations by November 21 in anticipation of Small Business Saturday on November 26. Judging will take place in late November to select award winners for "Best Use of Light," "Most Festive," and "Best Interior." Display types to be considered include:

  • Interior 
  • Exterior 
  • Both Interior and Exterior
Members of the public will also be invited to select the "People's Choice" winner through Open City Hall, Dublin's online forum for community engagement.  Winners will be announced in mid-December.

Contest winners will receive publicity through a City press release and social media posts; a prize contributed by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce; and recognition at a City Council meeting.  Additionally, all participating businesses are eligible to receive free Discover Dublin retail bags for use on or after Small Business Saturday.
